INOVOTION carries out an active and ambitious R&D program on angiogenesis using its robust chicken embryo CAM model, to offer even more readouts on its assays in this field. We will be at the International Vascular Biology Meeting 2024, July 2-5 2024 in Amsterdam, with 9 keynote lectures and 80 main talks!

Our outstanding PhD candidate Candice Pasquier will be there to give a talk in the Plenary “Aletta Jabobs Award Session” 27, sponsored by AstraZeneca and dedicated to talented females at the start of their career, held on Thursday July 4th at 4:30PM in the Grote Zaal.

Candice Pasquier’s talk at this plenary session will be on “Piezo and TRPV mechanosensitive calcium channels cooperatively trigger the loss of endothelial stability in Cerebral Cavernous Malformations”, describing a part of her thesis work while at INOVOTION. This work opens new therapeutic avenues for patients suffering of vascular malformations and brought a new knowledge on how our model could benefit our clients interested in angiogenic processes.
